Barack and His Inner Goddess

I'm an Obama supporter so I am truly happy that we can move on with Mr. Obama as the Democratic "presumptive" nominee. I'm going to refrain from expressing my distrust and disdain of Senator Clinton who showed her ass during this campaign season.

I'm also into astrology and one of my favorite sites is YasminBoland.com or moonology.com. She is not only dead on much of the time but she often talks about goddesses and the Divine Feminine in her daily thoughts. Though she is a Clinton supporter (she's a white woman living in Australia), I still respect her astrology knowledge and perspective. Here's a piece from her today about the Divine Feminine, Obama and Clinton. It's food for thought.

Today sees a luscious link between the Sun and Venus at the very point where they met back in June 2004, when Venus famously transited across the face of the Sun.

It's quite amazing that they're meeting in the exact same place now. So what does it mean? For my money, it's tied in with what people are calling The Re-emergence of the Divine Feminine. The skies are a cosmic clock and the feminine is on the rise.

Many readers wrote to me during the Clinton/Obama battle to say that Clinton had "nothing Divinely Feminine about her" and that, in fact, Barack is the one in touch with his Inner Goddess.

I disagree. The re-emergence of the Divine Feminine is all about the Three Faces of the Goddess - the Maiden, the Mother and the Crone.

The Crone is the scary older woman that many people take a dislike to because she's not afraid to be ambitious or powerful, (among other things). Ring any bells? Hillary is a clear part of the process, as are so many other women around the world!
