Extra confirmation of this mission was this email I got from Sharra at 3-D Publicity about the Street Arts Festival at Coney Island presented by Tatoot. It's all day and features graffiti, skateboarding, B-boys (hopefully B-girls too), live DJs...it's an extravaganza! And Tatoot, a combination of two words meaning 'DRAW LOUD, makes these dope backpacks and messenger bags designed by graffiti artists using the bag as their canvas...mobile art I must say. My favorites, not surprisingly, are Lady Graffiti and 5 Boros but there's some funky styles for every taste. I encourage you to stop by the festival and support some artistry.
The strawberry on top is that it's my sister's birthday and she is in town with my 4-year goddaughter how I wish I saw more (they grow up so fast). She's my star, so I'll be surrounding by love and light; what life's all about.
So be there or be square :)
