Celebrate Mother Earth

It's Earth Day 2008, a time to reflect on our relationships with our Mother, Earth. Although we don't always treat her with utmost respect, take some time today to thank her for all of her blessings and wonder. Take a walk, sit in the grass, smell the flowers (watch those allergies), look up at the sky and say a silent prayer and thanks to our mama. Without the flowers and our friendly bees, life would cease.

So try to use less water like when brushing teeth and showering (I'm guilty as charged), use both sides of the paper, turn off the lights, unplug chargers or appliances you aren't using (that wastes energy too!), reuse your plastic bags (or a cloth bag you have at home), plant some seeds whether in the earth or in people's minds. Here's a site with some tips: http://www.greenlivingtips.com/

Remember to love and respect the great mother today and always, she loves you unconditionally.
