12 Days of Christmakwanzakah: Day 9-Gorillaz

Happy holidays and blizzard staycation to my NYC and northeast massive! LOL, I took a hiatus on this for some offline holiday biznass since it's "Music Monday" I wanted to bless you with the gift of some free music.

The Gorillaz are pretty dope and have their new album online available to listen to...go here and check it out. You have to give your email address but really it's not that serious. They mostly made it on their iPad which is pretty sick. I have no idea how that would even work...ah, technology is pretty amazing. It's been keeping me entertained as I'm snowbound and tying up old 2010 biz.

Their vibe makes me think of Saraswati, the goddess of music, knowledge and the arts.
In Hinduism, Saraswati represents intelligence, consciousness, cosmic knowledge, creativity, education, enlightenment, music, the arts, and power.

I like how she is often depicted holding many objects, particularly multiple instruments. It makes me think of how this album was created...with lots of different types of sounds and moving parts and voices...give thanks for creativity and innovation.
